Press Release Body: San Jose, CA/ July 9, 2008- Twelve-year-old writing sensation,
Aliana Deveza, author of The Snake Prince of Montreal: The Witch's Vengeance, will
be holding a presentation and signing of her book at the San Jose Public Library on
July 16th at 6:30 PM. The Snake Prince of Montreal: The Witch's Vengeance is the
first in a three book series that Aliana has written. The event will be open to the
public and is designed to encourage children to read. The San Jose Library is
located at 880 Tully Road, San Jose, CA.

"I am very honored to be doing the presentation of The Snake Prince of Montreal: The
Witch's Vengeance at the San Jose Public Library," said Aliana Deveza. "I hope that
it encourages others to develop a love of reading and writing."

The Snake Prince of Montreal: The Witch's Vengeance is a novel about friendship that
is torn apart by jealousy. Two young girls, Agatha and Lucille are both in love with
Prince Aaron and when he chooses Agatha, Lucille becomes a black witch in order to
seek revenge many years later. Lucille, the Black Witch will go to Prince Aaron and
his now bride to curse their unborn child, Prince Krystopher. The Black Witch's
curse turns Prince Krystopher into a snake every full moon. Now Prince Aaron,
Agatha, and a few unlikely friends must teach Krystopher how to defeat the curse
that was put upon him before it is too late.

Aliana has written a novel that charms and delights readers of all ages. Using her
own experiences as inspiration she is able to connect with her readers. The book
teaches courage, loyalty, determination and friendship. Reviewers are raving that
for such a young author Aliana's book has twists and turns that keep the reader
guessing what will happen next. She seems to have this ability with the ease and
grace of a more experienced author.

When Aliana is not writing she enjoys reading, swimming, and playing with her little
brother.
